eric sharp is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in Minneapolis.
As a professional actor Eric has been seen onstage at Theater Mu, Guthrie Theater, Alliance Theatre, Ten Thousand Things, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, and many others. He has performed regionally and internationally in Minneapolis, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, Edinburgh, and once co-produced and performed a play in a full-size swimming pool.
Eric is represented for Commercial, Voice, and Print work by Wehmann Models and Talent.
Eric's playwriting debut, MIDDLE BROTHER, received its 2014 world premiere at Mu Performing Arts and was a finalist for the National New Play Network showcase. He is currently working on a collection of short fiction.
WorkSharp Design creates low-cost graphic design solutions for small non-profit arts and social service organizations.
As a teaching artist, Eric leads workshops for Theater Mu, Penumbra Theatre Company, and COMPAS, as well as teaching a suite of freelance theater workshops on various disciplines. His pedagogy is based on principles of equity, social justice, and intercultural dialogue.
